Meet Our Teachers
Rosanne Blowers
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Kevin for forty-five years. We have two married sons, one married daughter, and four adorable grandchildren. Our daughter, Brianne Blowers-Carlberg and I began Destiny Learning Center together. I thoroughly enjoyed homeschooling two of our children from elementary through high school. I have been a substitute teacher for all grades and held two long-term elementary substitute positions. I have been a private tutor for various grades and subjects for fifteen years and a lead teacher of Elementary grades for four years. I was also an Elementary Art teacher for eight years. I also completed multiple training courses and competency exams through the Florida Department of Children and Families. I am so delighted to teach through faith-based instruction. I love observing each child’s unique gifts and talents and helping them discover their God-given potential. My goal is to build confidence and enthusiasm in every child for life-long learning through creativity and hands-on experiences. I also want to instill in them the joy of reading and writing, the excitement of math, the wonder of God’s creations in science and nature, the inspiration of historical men and women, and God’s love for each one of us!
Brianne Blowers-Carlberg
My sweet husband, Stephen and I have been married for 3 years. I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida and was homeschooled from 1st grade through high school. Right after graduating high school, I began working in a private Christian school as a teacher’s assistant. I assisted in various classes and grades for 5 years and then became a VPK lead teacher for 3 years. While I was teaching, I completed my Associate of Arts Degree at St. Petersburg College and a Child Development Associates Degree with the Childcare Apprenticeship Program. I also completed over 75 hours of training courses and competency exams through the Florida Department of Children and Families, as well as other education training and FTCE exam certifications. After working and teaching in a school for eight years, I was near the end of completing a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education when I was led to switch careers. I began teaching dance at FYI Dance Company 8 years ago and I still teach 3 year olds through 5th grade in various dance styles. I also worked in the children’s ministry of a local church for 4 years. I wrote curriculum, guided the student-led worship teams and coordinated many large events for preschool, elementary, and youth. I loved seeing children light up as they got closer to God while having fun at church. As a teacher, I want the students in my class to love coming to school every day and truly be excited to learn and grow as a student and also become closer to Jesus throughout the year. I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to create a unique educational experience at Destiny Learning center with my mom and teach with an engaging and faith-based curriculum!
